About the destination

Sardinia is bigger and wilder than most people expect. Four hours end to end, on roads that take their time. The pace is the point. The island splits loosely into two moods. The north is the glamour: Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda, polished and barefoot-luxury, with water of an impossible blue. The south is the lived-in one: Cagliari, the capital, warm and layered, with historic streets, local markets, and an easy rhythm. Come between April and October. We point clients to the quieter edges. May and June, when the hills are still green and the beaches empty, or September, when the sea is warm, the crowds gone, and the late harvest is in. July and August are Sardinia at full volume, so book those far ahead, or not at all.
